That is what is really being argued by those against. They keep saying the tests are unreliable and that people will assume they are clear (green light). But the UK government is using them as red light tests and people are being told what their results mean.
Those against are basically saying the average person is too stupid to understand the results mean they could still have COVID and shouldn’t assume they don’t because they tested negative. The UK is using them to test asymptomatic people who wouldn’t otherwise even get tested since they don’t know they have COVID.
