Let me first start out by saying that I very much enjoy reading your posts. It is people like you that make reading these board worth taking the time to do so.
NOW THAT BEING SAID, I am also heavily invested in a company that was in a similar situation as CytoDyn about 11 years ago. They had a product that had to be FDA approved and was turned down for no apparent reason. The SP went from over $8 to .85 cents. The CEO came back to the shareholders and said he was willing to fight the FDA if the shareholders would continue to back him. To make a long story short after legal action against the FDA they caved in and passed the product and the stock is now over $70/share.. You see the lawyers proved that the FDA had no legitimate reason to fail the product accept it would hurt the profits of two other companies selling a similar product.
