I think they will already know who will need to be treated because of the NEWS2 score. It was designed to tell which patients were most likely to progress.
So run the NEWS2 protocol on all patients. Take a blood sample, give all patients who are likely to progress a shot of VX and everyone through the diagnostics. This will tell you the ones that still may need some treatment.
