I do know better than to take literally the words of 18th century wig wearers talking about muskets and the kings army as though they were relevant today.
And they DID leave us with the ability to amend the constitution beyond the First Ten.
If any of them came back and were gowned up to spend time in a big city ER you would hear a big old 'as you fucking were' on that militia shit.
And not a few would look at the videos of 1/6 without asking 'how come the militia didn't open fire on those treasonous assholes?'
