Why do I need to counter what ER Docs have to say. I realize the AR-15 is very effective and I assume that is why people buy them. And please spare others the squat about how it tears up meat so therefore it's not good for hunting. They make excellent hunting rifles and I don't think too many of my fellow rednecks end up eating a lot lead with their ham and venison.
My 270 will do way more damage than a 223.
