I'm not sure what you are getting at but from experience I would rather get hit with a .38 or 9mm before that .223 when that hits it doesn't stop like the .38 or 9MM it wrecks and it turns and no telling how many organs it wrecks before exiting your body if does exit or where in hell it decides to exit. The speed of that bullet was appealing. anything that hits you at that speed just tears you apart. In stead of using shotgun load for a bump stick in diving and spear fishing I would have a .223 for any sharks that threaten me to point of use. I never ran into any huge sharks or threats by them but damn Barracuda yes sir!
