I keep seeing one of the bashers on that other site complaining about the efficacy of the Eon Mist solution of .005% HOCL (50 parts per million) as an anti-viral.

Just screwing around, I found this white paper published by in the Journal of Veterinary Medical Science titled:

"Evaluation of sprayed hypochlorous acid solutions for their virucidal activity against avian influenza virus through in vitro experiments".

Here is a quote from the white paper abstract:

"When HOCl solutions were sprayed directly on the virus on rayon sheets for 10 sec, the solutions of 100 and 200 ppm could inactivate AIV immediately after spraying, while 50 ppm solution required at least 3 min of contact time."

Though not as immediately effective as a higher concentration of HOCL, it is still effective, at least as I read the article.
