These are, indeed, exciting times for all IPIX investors.
In recent days I've had occasional moments to glance through the message board, but this morning I am glad I had the time to catch up. There are lots of good messages and sentiments here. I particularly want to thank Petermax for his educational points.
IPIX was the very first “stock” I bought in my life. I had very little knowledge about the company at the time. My investment was purely based on the recommendation of a family member. I invested $10,000 at a time the IPIX SP was $4.42... Yes, that was a long time ago.
The long-time investors know the story: we saw the SP fall all the way to $0.5.
I had time to learn a lot more about the company and the potential of its products, so the drop in SP did not concern me a whole lot.
Interestingly, by mid-2019 no one here knew about COVID-19, so I have no idea what possessed me to go crazy with my money. I guess it was my belief in the company's products and the hope that in some 5 to 10 years IPIX would find some cure for cancer.
I sold a small investment I had in a mutual fund from a company whose ethics had been disappointing me (KHYAX: DWS High Income Fund-A), and in a span of a few months I invested another $60,000 in IPIX during the time the SP was floating between $0.08 and $0.20. Not that this was the goal, but I was able to average down very nicely from the initial $4.42. Nowadays I continue to accumulate, even averaging up!
If new investors don't get excited reading Pete's posts, I am afraid I don't have the wisdom or knowledge about stock investing to make them realize the gold mine IPIX is at this point. I guess I’m just happy sharing my excitement with them and all the long-time investors.
Food for thought: The IPIX SP was close to $5.00 in the past and, since that time, all the company has done is to evolve and conduct testing on several indications. That should be exciting to anyone!
