I am scheduled to get my first mRna shot on Thursday. The Bell's Palsy threat can't be ignored, but either can the dangers of COVID.
My wife is waiting for the JNJ vaccine. She has so many allergies she is afraid of the first two vaccines. She recently had surgery and developed a reaction to an antibiotic they gave her while she was sedated. She had difficulty breathing and her right side had red blotches up and down. Fortunately, Benadryl and steroids were at hand and stopped the reaction quickly. Needless to say, it was a frightening experience. We are praying she doesn't have an allergy to the COVID vaccine, but we'll make sure that her Epi-pen and medical staff are on hand.
