Let's see which is more ridiculous...
Person A is paid to appear to have a position in a stock and extol the virtues of the company.
Person B claims to have a position in a stock and spends all day trashing it, everyone involved in the company, and investors in the stock.
Forget ridiculous, it's neither logical nor plausible.
