After digesting things a bit, I'll offer my $0.02

I have to say I'm pretty high on GNBT/NGIO and see this year as a real inflection point. There are definitely disappointments but there is hope here ...
1. Not to pile on ... but the CC was strange. Joe felt a little off-the-cuff. Especially when juxtaposed with the technical discussion of the vaccine (which was great but not effective for the purposes of a CC for financial people - IMHO ... I felt like I was at an immunology conference). I think new and potential investors needed a point by point, mesoscale comparison between the GNGT/NGIO vaccine and the competition. Joe muddled through and touched on these things but in a haphazard, disjointed manner. Steve Jobs used to do "bake offs" between Apple products and competitors ... it was silly and probably not an honest representation but the idea of contrast and comparison for laypeople is useful.
2. In the US, getting a vaccine into the first wave is not happening. I'm not even sure we will even reach pregnant, children, other compromised groups with the big pharma. They are clearly shooting for the booster in the U.S. next year. ASSUMING competition does not provide longterm memory ... if they do provide longterm immunity we missed out on the entire US market (other than maybe new infants each year).
3. China is HUGE ... this is the most concrete potential for GNBT/NGIO ... A partnership in China is incredible. I talked to a international tax attorney that dealt with a multinational company working in China ... it is VERY difficult to move money out of China ... EVEN if it's your own money! They can just say "NO, you have to leave your money in China." I see this as the first revenue stream from the vaccine program. Nobody scales up and moves faster than China. Joe deserves "high-fives" and "atta-boys" for this MAJOR news update. IMHO this made the CC worth listening to.
4. We need to know why we missed the US market. It's not acceptable to blame BARDA. If we have the best technology ... Joe needed to make that case to people with deep pockets. How can we be over a year late to the party? There is no accountability here ...
