Pokey, I fully agree with you. Of course, we all expected

Pokey,
I fully agree with you. Of course, we all expected major news to come out in the time between the CC announcement and the CC yesterday. When the news did not show up ahead of the CC, all I read on here was "Joe is saving all his ammunition for the CC".
Then the first thing he says is "I can't say much, due to quiet period" Duh, what are we having a CC for then? To receive a biochemistry lecture by RP, who sounded as if he was almost falling asleep while telling us how excited he was about the lab tests, only to conclude that "we don't know for sure yet, but things look promising"?
Quiet period? It seems that Joe was more open to give out information in his recent interview (The Wize Oz, or whatever it was called) than he was able or willing to say to us shareholders directly yesterday.
Why in this world does everything always seems to take longer than expected, when it comes to GNBT? Have they noticed that this is a race - no longer for the first - bitte maybe the best vaccine out there, and that it sometimes takes running to win a race, while it seems they continue to have a walk in the park?
And even if there were YET ADDITIONAL delays, why do they still hold the CC basically with little to nothing substantial to show for? Why not postpone the CC until they finally have the final results that they can discuss with us? I left work early, here in Germany, to be able to participate in this call, for THIS?
And finally to this statement I read here all over the place, especially after the CC "we have to be patient just a little bit longer". Well, I can't hear this anymore, as patience is what I have shown for more than ONE ENTIRE YEAR already. Patient I have been for the last 4 week, between the announcement and the CC, waiting for the big news to show up. NOTHING, except for a share price that dropped back to the levels I thought we had left for good a couple of weeks ago. So yes, Pokey, I agree, I also feel like a donkey with a carrot dangling in front of its nose, to always keep walking.
Didn't the most of us kept stating on here recently that it is "show me" time for GNBT now? How does that fit into the reiterated "be patient" statements now?
Sorry, but I am still very frustrated after this CC that I went into full of positive expectations, only to be disappointed again.
This is still one of the largest positions in my brokerage account, but still one of the worst performers, just because I am already a long time investor, and I have made - what turns out to be - the mistake and purchased a majority of my shares not at the very bottom, but I have been patient, and was barely (30%) above the water level before the CC started, and now I am back in the red zone, while other investments have given me several 100% of gains already, even though most of them are in my depot only a fraction of the time. So where the heck is my reward for being patient for such a long time???
This is really frustrating to say least, but I will stop my rant now.
Everyone have a good weekend, as much as it is possible after such a bummer to start it off with. I really hope that they are doing what a lot of folks on here asked for and come up with a summary PR early next week to emphasize on all the great things that they have going.
