Way over my head- but the times I have seen innovation and discovery flourish have been started with exactly this type of discourse. I don't see it as a criticism of anyone- and Nadar and the rest may absolutely 'know' (I believe Dr Jay to be a rock star)- but this is still just good ole fashion exploration.
