I think they said that they have a vaccine ready to go into human trials. Now. Today.
what they then said...which confused things...is that they don't yet know is if they have a 'complete' vaccine...one with 'memory'. Memory is what they are chasing and hope to find out in 7-10 days. It wasn't all or nothing. Even if 10 days go by and it turns out that there is no 'memory', then they still have a vaccine to take into human trials.
The way they handled that detail I think confused people, and in that confusion caused some to think they were a bust.
