Gamestock and Overstock BOTH had much more than 10

So why would anyone think that if this can happen to large, well-known, exchange-listed companies, it would NOT happen to companies like IPIX and other small biotechs, which are in the Wild West of the OTC?
When a well-known short LIED in a tweet about another small Boston biotech some years ago (and "coincidentally" that one was ALSO attacked by Mako) -- claiming that he had inside information that the biotech's clinical trial had failed, that single tweet torpedoed the stock. When the company reported their ACTUAL results 3 days later, and they were stellar, the company's stock price did not recover -- because the disgusted investors who sold in a panic, at a big loss, did not come back. The company had to sell itself cheaply to avoid bankruptcy. Investors lost a ton of money.
Many investors reported the criminal stock manipulator to the SEC. They never even acknowledged getting the complaint form.
