From MV on the other board - I agree with his view on where Nano is - wish I didn’t but.... As I have stated before you can patent a sock with two eyes and a smiley face. You can say it talks but the patent doesn't have to prove it talks. Read the below paragraph of that press release: This is where the rubber meets the road and has real meaning. Everything up to this point means nothing until you have a working model that can deliver results in 30 minutes or less with high accuracy. There is zero indication that they are anywhere close to an additional application that rings the register. They need a company who is willing to invest lots of time, money and resources without any guarantee. Then, can it be delivered it in a cost effective manner for that company to invest millions while giving a cut on every test to NNLX. In my opinion, that's an extremely high bar that when the math gets put pen to paper, I just don't know how it works. Most companies in this space who can pull this off have there own resources to do it themselves.
An important additional application of the test is for a home-test configuration, projected as a reasonably user-friendly abbreviated assay capable of producing results in about 30 minutes using a nasopharyngeal swab or saliva sample.
