Deals today are littered with special voting rights shares.
Uber raised 95% of its initial capital and only gave those folks a hair over 50% of the voting rights.
Zuckerberg still has voting control of FB, even though he holds far fewer shares than his votes would seemingly represent.
Let's remember Joe is not trying to raise billions of $. We're probably talking about somewhere in the $50-100MM range. And this is a company with great IP, 10 years of great cancer data, vaccine deals in the work, etc. People with money have taken far greater risks on companies with much less to show.
