They tend to come in clumps...multiple days in a row. Often in round numbers.
I think they are Fife selling the shares he has recently registered. He gives a number to a market maker during the day, and the MM sells them throughout the day and records the average price at the end.
Today, he may have used two different market makers for two different large chunks. He accomplishes his purpose without disrupting the markets. He always prefers cash to shares, but has no desire to drive the price lower.
