While we don’t yet know how things will play out for Joe Biden’s grifter son, Hunter, given the pesky Justice Department investigation into his foreign shenanigans and stuff, another Biden-Harris family member just made bank. Yep, Ella Emhoff, Kamala Harris’s 21-year-old stepdaughter, has already cashed in — “yuuge” — within a week of the inauguration.
January 20: Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are sworn into office.
Eight days later: Young Ella scores a major modeling contract with one of the world’s most prestigious modeling agencies.
Coincidence? You make the call. (She’s 21, Seb, not 22.)
As reported by The New York Times:
One week after the Miu Miu coat she wore at President Biden’s swearing-in went viral, Ella Emhoff, the 21-year-old stepdaughter of Vice President Kamala Harris, became the newest face at IMG Models, one of the world’s most prestigious modeling agencies.
Along with Ms. Gorman, who also signed with IMG, the agency works with such famous faces as Karlie Kloss, Alek Wek, and Ashley Graham.
“It’s not really about shape, size or gender anymore,” said Ivan Bart, the president of IMG Models, noting that what brands are attracted to, and what consumers want, is authenticity. “Ella communicates this moment in time. There’s a cheekiness and a joy she exudes.”
And, he said, when he saw her at the swearing-in, he thought, “Wow, she’s communicating fashion.”
“Ella communicates this moment in time.” What, exactly, is this moment in time, and what does it — and Ella —communicate?
Emhoff was “surprised” by the modeling contract, she said.
“I was pretty surprised when everything with IMG was happening because when I was younger, I never saw that as being part of my timeline.
“As someone who, like a lot of young girls out there, had self-confidence issues, it is intimidating and scary to go into this world that is hyper-focused on you and the body.”
What changed her mind, she said, was seeing the diversity of models working today and the opportunity to be “part of that change.” With her “really weird tattoos and kind of a funky haircut,” she added.
If you’re so inclined, click on the link in the tweet to learn about Ella’s “Instantly Iconic Miu Miu Coat” she wore to the inauguration. Apparently, it was memorable.
E! News wasn’t the only outlet to get all blubbery about Ella’s Miu Miu. Check it out:

You see where this whole thing is going, right?
Melania Trump can only dream about being so fortunate. [heavy sarc]
Just for fun, I checked into IMG Models a bit. Turns out — and I’m implying nothing — that IMG is part of an entertainment conglomerate run by Ari Emanuel, brother of Rahm Emanuel, the former Obama chief of staff, and Patrick Whitesell, a generous Democrat donor who contributed more than $150,000 to Democratic candidates and committees in the 2020 election cycle, as reported by Washington Free Beacon.
Incidentally, I wrote an article on Friday titled NFL’s Invitation of Inaugural Poet to Read Poem at Super Bowl Meets Mixed Reviews: ‘This Bulls@*t Is NOT Poetry’, about 22-year-old “poet” Amanda Gorman, who recited one of her “poems” at the inauguration, and has subsequently been tapped by the NFL to read another one of her original “poems” prior to Super Bowl LV (55).
The point? Young Amanda has also signed a modeling contract with IMG. Another coincidence? Of course, it was. “That was fast!” Yeah! Just like Ella!
