I also watch Daryls house but I'm not sure I saw that one. I saw Adam Levine of Maroon 5 and I like their music. Call me what you will but I go as far as liking some of GaGa's music. I think some of these new artists are super talented but I'm not into rap. I grew up on Motown, R&B, and then Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, The Who, Rolling Stones, Beatles, etc. Then Steve Miller, The Cars, Hall and Oates, Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, etc, etc, etc. I still love it all even though I've heard the same songs a million times at age 53. Many of us are old enough or have been exposed to much of the same classic rock and oldies. I've been to some great concerts over the years. I saw "Boston" in Waltham, MA at Bentley College in 1975 i.e. 2nd row and before More Than A Feeling hit the radio. I was 15/16 yrs old and back when kids got out and about with the older kids who had their drivers license and the old chitbox car. I was born the year Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens died in the plane crash i.e. 1959. They dubbed it "The day the music died" and the lyrics to American Pie were about that plane crash and it's victims. Written by Don McLean back in the 70's. I grew up on Rock N Roll and what is all the "Classic Rock" today; I heard it come out on the radio when it was brand new.
