There is a deal on the table with the Philippines and I bet it is contingent on the mortality. We won’t see an agreement until we know the mortality ratio. That’s the kicker of our whole existence. I am betting the same day we unblind and submit to the FDA. We also announce a deal with the Philippines because we are going to tell them the ratio they need to hear to lock in the deal.
That just seems reasonable for the Philippines to expect results before buying another Remdisivir type misconception. We know we will outperform them. But a set ratio or percentage of lives saved like 30% could be all it takes to make the deal official.
