Did you see any Dem politicians egging them on? THAT'S the difference; the f'ing POTUS was behind his about to riot assholes, way behind as it turns out....back to the WH to watch what he INCITED
The riot's were in response to police shootings, a bad response by too many. The insurrection was a response to Trump's false narrative about a stolen election, repudiated in over 60 court decisions.
A bad response by a lot more people who got a lot deeper into a building that they had no business being in for purposes that they very SPECIFICALLY, by name, were making clear. Did you see any gallows at those lefty riots? How about those hand cuff ties?
I don't like burning flags, but that is protected 'speech'. I like even less, assholes beating a cop with a pole with an American flag on one end.
