The data management team does not wait till the end to start reviewing the data.
It is an ongoing process of reviewing data and issuing queries to the sites all along.
It often takes the sites a while to respond but the first 200 plus should be fully cleaned a while ago.
For slow sites the CRO should be sending a monitor in-site to support the process.
All of this may be changed due to hospital covid restrictions but the data will have been on the processes of cleaning throughout.
