CDiddy, my point was that the large BPs are thinking in terms of supplying the world with vaccines, obviously, or having the production capacity to adapt for more production if the virus mutates or time of immunity is short. Pfizer was shipping vaccine to Europe until the whole shortage scandal was revealed and they had to stop doing that.
If tomorrow we had 2 billion vials of Leronlimab, we could use them all up immediately! Easily! (Present obstructions ignored.)
Vaccines have their place but so do tuned-up immune systems! Vaccines do not tune up immune systems.
I've gone through the analysis several times on the numbers of vials of Leronlimab that need to be produced. See my post 72915.
If Cytodyn wants to be a big player in pharmaceuticals, they must be accordingly BIG. I'm surprised when some on the board show such confidence that, once we have EUA, our troubles will be gone. But, if nothing else, everything takes time. BIG time!
I really hope they can tap the production capacity of that Boulder, Colorado facility that AGC(?) was trying to bring on line and keep working closely with Samsung. But that doesn't get them even close to billions of vials. At some point, might they even obtain their own production facility? That sounds sweet!
Happily, Pourhassen always strikes me as a guy who has patience enough for all of his ambitions to come to fruition. He doesn't seem to want to do anything else or go anywhere else. He is in it for the long haul. I really admire him for that.
What was that saying he had, "Success is achieved by having the patience to fail many time until you get it right," something like that. He has the right attitude for the job!
