I'm 2/3rds of the way through a bottle of wine and I'm

I'm 2/3rds of the way through a bottle of wine and I'm almost done with my second steak. I've also been binge-watching Alone (a show about survival in the harshest climates on earth and you should drop what you're doing and start watching it immediately) and I can't help but feel proud that while I've sourced protein for the evening it came with a relatively decent amount of fat content, a key to not whittling away to nothing in an Arctic winter. Hell, every time I see a tree trunk now I'm thinking about whether or not it would make a good ridge pole. It's crazy.

There's something special about watching a survival of the fittest show while pounding red wine and then pausing their suffering to get up for a minute to switch into your "loose shorts" so your distended belly from overeating noodles doesn't feel too constricted. Investing, like wilderness survival, has experts and amateurs along with a healthy dose of people somewhere in between. I like to think I'm an inbetweener, but who knows.

Speaking of who knows...

Turns out that harnessing the collective brain power of this board has only gotten us 12 different guesses as to what's really going on with CD12 and when to expect results. Has the data been uploaded as the trial progressed so it'll be easier to analyze? Is the data unlocked? Does the lock require a key? Is it an old timey key? IS IT TWO KEYS THAT HAVE TO BE TURNED AT THE SAME TIME LIKE A NUCLEAR LAUNCH?!?

(A dumb movie idea I just had is one in which there's a bomb requiring a passcode, or key if you nasty, to disarm. It's not a real key though. It's a series of notes sung in a specific key that unlocks it. Starring Jane Lynch, Anna Kendrick, and that blond British woman from all those teen singing movies because their contracts with the devil do not allow for a movie with singing to occur without their involvement. Special appearance by Julia Stiles, who ends racism with her passionate mixed race dance at the end.)

So with that pertinent, professional, and timely introduction out of the way, where the hell do we stand in terms of CD12 results?

Well I have it on good authority that it may happen tomorrow. Or possibly any day after tomorrow and up through the end of Q1 without technically being "late". You see, time is a construct. It isn't real. It's a human invention to help us differentiate between now and our perception of the past. So remind yourself about that when, like me, you're frantically refreshing your email every six seconds for possible press releases.

The PR's will come.

Personally, I think we are going to get something this week. Not sure what it will be, but one thing that keeps going through my head is how the discussions with potential suitors/partners will go. Will NP get the results and share them first with XYZ pharma so they can offer a partnership or throw out an amount for a buyout?

(Unlikely based on how NP values the company versus the actual, current worth of the company)

Or will they share with the FDA first so that OWS can throw money at us to ramp up production and the FDA can give us approval or EUA?

Or will they share with Bruce Patterson because 12 message board posters have convinced NP that he should be married to IncelldX no matter what it takes?

I don't know.

It's tough.

But I keep going back to a few things to remind myself why my confidence should be high. Here they are:

1. A LOT of well respected doctors would have to be selling their souls to be in on a conspiracy theory that Leronlimab works. Plenty of really impressive doctors have contributed or jumped on board as an advocate because of first hand knowledge of Leronlimab.

2. HIV is done. It is effective, it is safe. It will get approved. Even if it takes a little time, it'll get there. What a fantastic "de-risk" opportunity to offset any losses if the Covid-19 efforts don't pan out like we all hope.

3. Bruce Patterson's TedX Talk

4. Jay Lalezari, after seeing EIND results along with effect in other disease states, said that (and I paraphrase substantially because it's been a while) "the heavens have smiled upon Cytodyn".

5. Ohm20, CTMedic, CDiddy - Full disclosure: I am/was way more popular with invisible poker blogging folks than I am here with invisible investor friends. I'll fill you in at the meetup in the Maldives. But back to my point, the confidence displayed by all the people (especially these three) who know far more about the science and the company than me is a fantastic crutch during times of instability.

6. Steaks - I wouldn't have gotten this far without two filet mignon per night while on the road, which is generally when I can post. The science is great and all but you can't finish the science in butter.

7. Wine

8. Wine

9. Wine

10. Wine

And now for my final thoughts...

I think our first PR will contain both the top line results AND the news of partnerships with either big pharma or OWS. They're compiling and analyzing everything but they're also planning.

I'm out of wine and steak so at this point I'll bid you a good evening and I'll cheers you in spirit.

Here's to the amazing results we should see tomorrow (a dumb guess that will look amazing if it happens to occur) and to all of you and your loved ones staying safe from the Rona.
