Why the hell aren't we drilling and why were we told drilling would start sooner than it has?
I was in conference with Bruce yesterday and it's quite clear where the problem lies. You see Bruce took care of payments to the folks that we be drilling last Wed., He fully expected D would get the necessary preparations onsite at the Brown for the drilling to begin. Well, D had to be in Austin to handle the TRRC on some lease issues. Prior mgmt has left us somewhat compromised. D has done a great job at saving us cash. No Doubt. He is handling way too much on his plate.
Logistics of our leases require hundreds of miles of driving on a daily basis for D. You can't be everywhere handling everything. Compton lease yesterday required D to be there with John working. Same time yesterday we have a line issue at Brown. I won't bore you with any more details.
Solution -More boots on the ground.
I'll be on the Brown early this AM dealing with the line issue as Norman will arrive with the necessary parts. After that I'll be on the Compton as D meets with the folks to dig the pit on the Brown.
