Its the legislative stimulus bill of which National Covid plan is one part.
The plan also calls for $50 billion for testing and to give funding to purchase rapid tests and expand capacity.
The new CV19 mutations or variants from So. Africa and other places have made the efficacy of the existing vaccines a question that has yet to be answered. This new question increases the importance of CV19 testing for prevention. Testing does not look like it will go away anytime sooner or later.
