MINUTE entry before the Honorable Steven C. Seeger as to David Foley and Bennie Blankenship: The arraignment set for January 19, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. (Dckt. No. 5 ) will be held telephonically. Members of the public and media will be able to call in to listen to this hearing. The call-in number is (888) 684-8852 and the access code is 9369830.
Notes:
Foley facing 8 counts with potential prison time of 20 years per count and 250K fines per count. Count 9 ten years and 8,000,000 in fines and count 10 five year and 50K in fines.
10K unsecured bond for Foley; 4500 for Blankenship. Both to report to Federal Marshals within the next week.
Previously un-named co-conspirators named by the USA attorney as Foley's wife and brother.
Foley has court appointed attorney, Judge requests explanation as to why cars are worth 9 grand total and Foley reports 16K per month in home expenses when he hasn't paid the mortgage in 2 1/2 years. Foley refused to answer so attorney must file explanation.
Conditions from the court are numerous - give up passport, forbid any securities dealings.
