After he serves his time in the Phillipines the US will extradite and convict him at the behest of the FDA for trading with the enemy, unauthorized use of a substance, violation of the Official Secrets Act, crimes against humanity, and some other more obscure regulations. They will however display their enlightened humanity by not putting his family in jail or giving him the death sentence.
