A reminder about vaccine efficacy: The Phizer and

The Phizer and Moderna trial's Primary Endpoint was reduction in the number of severe/critical cases of covid-19. (They claim 100% reduction of deaths).
So what about mild/moderate cases? In the Phizer trial, there were 3,410 cases of mild/moderate covid-19 that were not widely announced. And 1,594 of those were in the group that got the vaccine. They were labeled "Suspicious Infections" because those folks displayed symptoms of early covid-19, but were not tested. Can we assume those could still spread the disease? Also, they depending upon folks who had symptoms, to "call in", Phizer did not "call them", thus, there may have been more folks with mild symptoms (thus infected) who did not call in. And of course asymptomatic folks would not call in to say they weren't feeling normal. So the 1,594 number could be notably higher. Maybe some of those progressed to s/c after the cut off date for data collection?
