You wonder if these elderly were given the vaccine because they were living in the same place as more viable elderly so as to get some “micro” herd immunity in that facility. It poses an interesting ethical dilemma if there was no real thought that this could extend or improve the quality of their lives going forward if they were so frail but done to help protect the others. I wonder who made the decision to inoculate them if they had a limited life expectancy. Not right to give therapeutics that don’t improve comfort to terminally ill. IMO
