The test featured in the past few articles are all antigen tests. They are not as accurate as molecular test in detecting live virus.
Most people have no idea as to what type of test they have been given or their cycle threshold.
Both Accuracy (you do have live virus) and cycle threshold (ct) (lower is worse than higher) are the most important factors. In the ER medical officials need to be able to determine if right now you have an active case of the disease and not do you have the antibodies.
When to run which test? Molecular, Antigen, Antibody.
For Live Active Virus we need molecular PCR or RNA Testing.
The test we need must be as close to 100% accurate in detecting your level of active COVID-19 live virus. Molecular tests are the most accurate and most expensive.
The Antigen test has the fatal flaw of returning a lot of false negatives which is more harmful than false positives.

For the general population later on to measure the condition of your immune system and its ability to fight off COVID-19 the antibody test is needed.
