Executive Vice President of Merck, Roger Perlmutter told CNBC:
“We realized that this small little company was in no position to make CD24Fc to try and treat all of the people who could potentially benefit from this drug. We decided that the only way, seriously, that this could be brought to people who need it is for us to lean in with our capabilities.”
Let me interpret this for all....
We'll take your company from you for almost free so that WE can save society and look like WE care, because you are just a pawn in our game. Oh, by the way--we should be able to make BILLIONS on this too........
