Its all very real and it sucks. In this country

In this country, it is a very rare situaiton to even contemplate rationing care.
After 30+ years in EMS I can count on one hand the number of times where I've responded to a mass casualty incident and had determine that a patient would not receive any lifesaving efforts.
This only occurs when the number of seriously ill or injured is so significant that to attend to those already in cardiac arrest would jeopardize the lives of those still living.
That is what the nurse, doctors and their colleagues are facing or having to plan for in southern California.
It is a slow-motion, catastrophic horror that thus far cannot be stopped.
Come on FDA, get leronlimab up off the bench and into the game.
