* Well,...today was very disappointing. The countdown timer was all for a new website. On top of that, (with multiple days to prepare for) traders/investors had a hard time getting on the new website because of the server's firewall that was up. What gets me, is that my gut feeling told me this was going to happen days prior; warning me. (Nevertheless, I was optimistic). So, I looked at today's overall play with grim confirmation.
Now, if I told you I was going to give you a big present in 11 days time and then when that day came you opened that 'BIG' present (which was in a big box), to only find a new edition of a website address, magazine, or newspaper that's been circulating for months or years...what would you think? First, why would you need such a 'Big' box for something so Small?
The point being, if there was merger with another company, a big contract awarded to the company for hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars, money made from profits,.etc.....would've been [PROPORTIONAL], appropriate, and fitting for the occasion, wouldn't you say?
Frank could have forgone the whole countdown and sent a tweet out that his website has been updated. With no fireworks to go with it.
The MM's reaction to the new website (with everything inside it) was completely in line today, because they knew there wasn't anything substantial that would effect the value of today's share price (to go up), except go down, which it did. They know what will affect the share price, and what will not.
Moral/Point of the Story: Don't blow things out of Proportion. If it's big, then make sure it's REALLY BIG. If it's small, don't make it BIG.
