A question: The primary endpoint of cydy is mortal

A question: The primary endpoint of cydy is mortality rate right? So how can you prove to the fda that the mortality is decreasing... I mean if people who took leronlimab are dying 4 years later how can you prove that the mortality rate is decreasing, there is no way right? I don’t understand that quite well
