Ah my handle. Well, if you remember the Pythagorean theorem for right triangles a*a + b*b = c*c where c is length of hypotenuse and a and b are lengths of sides. The smallest integer solution has sides a=3, b=4, c=5 because 3*3 + 4*4 = 9 + 16 = 25 = 5*5
