First, Bill can’t bless leronlimab into an EUA or approval - only CD12 data can do that (for now).
Having grown up in Seattle and working in Bellevue during the early Microsoft heydays there are lots of Bill Gates stories - some good, some not so good. I met Bill very briefly in the early 90’s in a social situation. He seemed genuinely pleasant. Whatever you think of the guy he is hyper mission focused. He drove Microsoft to success and he is driving the Gates Foundation to success. I have had a few friends/acquaintances that have worked and interacted with him in both organizations - everyone has told me the same thing, that he is relentless and demanding.
Does Bill know about Leronlimab? I have no idea, but I am willing to bet my CYDY share that the Gates Foundation is very aware of Cytodyn. No organization with that much focus on HIV could overlook it. Also, don’t confuse what is put in Bill and Melinda’s annual letter with all of what is going on inside the Foundation. All communication from the Gates (personal and foundation) is carefully measured. There is a lot more going on inside the organization than we are aware of - and assessment and tracking of leronlimab is certainly part of that.
