Coronavirus vaccine support. The bill includes $19.6 billion for the manufacturing and procurement of COVID-19 vaccines, therapeutics , and ancillary supplies necessary for administration; $8.75 billion to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to support states and local public health agencies in distribution and administration of the vaccine (including $4.5 billion for state, local tribal, and territorial public health departments, and $300 million directed to high-risk and underserved areas for distribution, including communities of color); and $3.25 billion for the Strategic National Stockpile of medical supplies and equipment .
If Vyrologix (VX henceforth) is left standing in Severe/Critical we will be looking good in the sense that the Government would be wise in acquiring a good quantity of VX for the stockpile, more so if it is demonstrated that it can work with OTHER possible/future virus.
So, basically the government can, and should, buy a good quantity of VX during and after the current epidemic is gone. With the amount of money in hand this could very well be the whole production for an extended period of time once everything is said and done.
What will be due diligence from NP and the team is to have a good communication with the government and stress the need for better planning/preparedness for he next Pandemic in the context of VX .
As per Dr. Patterson, some drugs need to be stored to face rapidly/effectively the new challenges that we will undoubtedly have in the future.
So, shall CD-12 be a success, the overall market will be much larger than the current conditions call for.
