I live in southwest Florida. We are sensible about social distancing, using masks, washing hands, etc. But nothing is closed down. The weather is wonderful all year long, so there is dining and so many activities done outside. You can’t duplicate that in the northeast. What puzzles me is why Southern California has such a problem when they can do the same as here. Clearly in my mind the spread of the virus is multi-factorial with different factors carrying more weight than others, and I see too much contradictory information to clearly know what is the truth. I think our knowledge is still incomplete as the best way to handle this virus without unnecessarily wrecking our economy, education of our children, sports, etc. to control it.
