No. It's not a matter of confusion between the two compounds. It's just another case of people who want to avoid even the slightest chance of being prosecuted for taking part in the manufacturing of products that haven't been fully approved by the federal government yet. Based on what I've seen recently, this could change very soon, and the federal government is not likely to bring the hammer down on companies like RMHB using moderate amounts of top quality CBD (per FDA preliminary guidelines), but some people simply don't want to take any chances. If the feds set the standards in stone like they should have long ago and they do it soon enough, then maybe the landlord will reconsider. Just have to see how how it plays out. It won't stop RMHB anyway. There are plenty of CBD friendly landlords out there.
