We know the Innova Antigen Test is bundled with QMC HealthID and to see your results online you need to register yourself and then the test through an online portal. That's a tremendous advantage for Innova/QMC in gaining acceptance of QMC HealthID.
Hypothetically, if Innova is offering both test and test/vaccine passport for a lower price and same results as other tests, the lower prices should win because the cost is in the billions overall and there is tremendous pressure to get prices down. If the Innova test is better than the competition, it's a no brainer!
If the Innova tests are manufactured in that country, can be available sooner, and in greater quantities, those are more reasons. The huge number of tests that will be needed after vaccination can justify building a factory based on guaranteed orders, especially, as the last PR states, QMC Medical-Grade Quantum Dots can be pivoted to be used in similar tests for other diseases. Likewise, QMC HealthID can be adapted to the needs of those new tests as a dedicated standalone for personal data privacy if not needed for travel.
But let's talk about QMC HealthID and other "passports". There are many, and some test manufacturers have aligned with one of them. Is an industry such as airlines going to say they will not accept Innova tests because they are registered with a different passport, QMC HealthID, especially when the UK and other Commonwealth nations are using hundreds of millions of Innova tests? Or when millions are using Innova DIY Tests through QMC HealthID?
