Good morning everyone,
let me offer you an entirely different perspective on the current situation.
Before Joe has taken over, I had already lost all of my hopes that something good would still come from this investment.
Then the PR was published which let us shareholders know that a new management team was installed, and a first CC was held (in which, BTW, I already brought up the idea to spin out AE!!) and I get super excited and immediately after the 1000:1 RS loaded up more shares. This was in January of 2017, and after that no PR was published for 10 months or so, until November (maybe late October) of that year. I can't remember the exact dates and times, but I do remember that it was such a long time that I had lost all hopes again. But only to be positively surprised by the announcements that followed and the skyrocketing share price.
That much as a reminder. Now where are we at right now? We all complained about all the PRs without real substance and the sloppy ways to make predictions of events and time frames (the infamous "coming days" and "soon" etc.) that had us all excited only to be disappointed just a little while later. So let's be honest, what good have these PRs really done us? Nothing much, right?
Now that these types of PRs have been discontinued we are also complaining, but let's remind ourselves to the beginning of Joe's time in office. He said "hello, here I am, I am your new CEO" and then basically disappeared behind his office doors for many months, only to come back out with a big bang, a bang that immediately caused the pps to shoot up.
Anybody, who thinks he has given up, is, in my view, very much mistaken, but he rather had learned his lessons that only "did news" (such ss a signed contract, payments made, FDA approval received, etc.) really mean anything, and he skipped the "water level announcements", gets stuff done and once facts are made, he will announce them.
He has at least once already been successful with this exact strategy and I hope that he has returned back to exactly that again.
So let's be patient and wait for the next bang news to be presented to us. He has at least once surprised me with a big announcement that i was not at all counting on anymore and I am sure that he will be able to do exactly that again.
So let's put a check mark behind this year of missed opportunities, which could have been a breakthrough year, but for several reasons (not all of them being Joe's fault, but the SEC or the pandemic held up every progress, and in part BARDA /Operation Warp Speed is to blame for - in my view - not really doing their job properly by not spreading the available funding as widely as possible into as many different vaccine technologies as possible) it has not turned out that way. And remain curious to see what good is in the making behind closed doors, that will turn this company around another time. I am sure that Joe and his management team has laid out a plan and will inform us as soon as humanly possible about any real progress they have been able to make.
To a great 2021, in particular in regards to our GNBT/NGIO investment. Until then have a merry Christmas everyone.
