I'm still hoping to get my friend compassionate use treatment of Leron.
I wrote to Dr. Jay L., and he quickly put me in touch w David Kuo at Amarex, who wrote me immediately to explain how the EIND would be done.
"the emergency IND is initiated by the patient’s treating oncologist....The treating oncologist will be the IND owner and will be required to call FDA to obtain FDA authorization for the expanded access."
He then enclosed the web link to the FDA website for the Individual Patient Expanded Access Application for Emergency Use.
So Cytodyn and Amarex have BOTH been swift and thorough. Proud of them.
