Was it $23 million that bought Cytodyn 1.2 million

With gov't money (taxpayer dollars) come gov't control. But it is totally legit for a tax paying company like Cytodyn (paying taxes indirectly through its employees) to ask a gov't also paid for with tax dollars for help, no strings attached, to do social good. Isn't that one of the reasons, "Governments are instituted among men?"
We shouldn't need financial help but we could use a lot of help with enabling manufacturing, jumping the line for production (sorry boner pills!), and figuring out distribution. Is that too much to ask of a tax supported gov't by a tax paying company?
FBCoach18, I truly hope you are right about saner judgements being made behind closed doors at Cytodyn. This whole set of concerns for me was triggered by Pourhassen saying that Cytodyn might sell its whole present inventory of Leronlimab to the Philippines for $2.5 Billion. I wish he would walk that statement back.
Fourth post of the day, running out of bullets.
