Faster is good but there are no production facilities available that could absorb the approximate $2 Billion that the sale of present inventory would bring in.
Ken Chowder noted, "At the moment the Philippines has only 798 critical or severe cases, and about 25000 active cases, with about a thousand new cases a day. So a couple hundred thousand courses of Leron would go pretty far there.
Of course they would want to stockpile a bunch."
A couple hundred courses of Leronlimab X $1500 should get Cytodyn $300,000,000. That should be enough to get more production going and cover other Cytodyn costs!
I am not interested in exposing the "ineptness and corruption of the FDA." I am interested in getting approval for Leronlimab for all indications it can treat. The first one, however, opens a hell of a lot of doors. That is the priority. Other strategies risk burning bridges. That can't be risked.
You say you want to save lives yet you would risk non-approval of Leronlimab or even a slowdown?
If we sold all of our inventory as soon as possible, what would keep the FDA from saying, "Well, since you have no inventory, there is no urgency to your approval. We will set your application on the back burner and set the heat on low. Tell us when you can supply what you ask us to approve!"
In the meanwhile, other BPs are busily trying to emulate the MOA of Leronlimab with their mabs.
I am not saying American lives are anymore important then any other lives. You won't win this argument by floating slanderous charges.
All I am saying is you had better not try to end run the gov't. How many times do I have to say this? They could approve the sale of all present inventory BEFORE FDA approval! You don't know, I don't know. But what I do know is you had better think about that and ask!
