Is There Nothing About This Pandemic That These Clowns Won't F*ck Up?
Pfizer says it has plenty of vaccine doses, but the Trump administration* isn't getting them distributed.

While it's nice to know that, very soon, Vice President Mike Pence will have had all his shots, and therefore will be eligible for adoption by a loving family, the basic problem is that he still works for an administration* equally divided between the evil and the stupid. From the Washington Post:
But Pfizer released a statement Thursday that seemed to contradict that explanation, saying the company faced no production difficulties and had many more doses immediately available than were being distributed. “We have millions more doses sitting in our warehouse but, as of now, we have not received any shipment instructions for additional doses,” the statement read.
Is there nothing about this emergency that these clowns can't fck up beyond all recall?
Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar, in a CNBC appearance on Thursday, noted that Pfizer had slashed its manufacturing projection for this year from 100 million doses to 50 million doses, and said he would “like to have more visibility” into the company’s manufacturing capacity. “I do wish we would stop just talking about this Pfizer thing,” Azar said, noting that other vaccines were in the pipeline.
Apparently not. And I think picking a fight with the company that got there first, and that is already ramped up to produce millions upon millions of life-saving doses, is the kind of brilliant public-policy thinking that this continent hasn't seen since it was ruled by George III.
Another person involved in the planning, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the situation, said Pfizer executives were baffled that the administration was not immediately distributing all of its vaccine, instead leaving much of it on the shelves.
Baffled? Really? Remember who you're dealing with here, Pfizer. You're lucky he's not peddling doses with his name on them in the gift shop of his gaudy hotel.
