The rational will see that the number of anaphylactoid events is small and that cases are relatively easily treatable. I've seen numerous profound reactions, but they are very treatable.
Epinephrine, Benadryl and steroids are very effective.
IMO it's little different that many being afraid of flying while driving on a congested roadway after midnight on a weekend is orders of magnitude more dangerous.
