Loop Insights (TSX.V: MTRX) (OTCQB: RACMF), a provider of contactless solutions and artificial intelligence (“AI”) to drive real-time insights, enhanced customer engagement, and automated venue tracing to the brick-and-mortar space, has named Mark Lotz as its new chief financial officer. The appointment is effective Dec. 11, 2020. A chartered professional accountant, Lotz earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a joint major in economics and has 26 years of post-qualification experience. He has broad expertise in capital markets across a wide cross-section of industries including SaaS, manufacturing, mining, technology and financial services. Lotz has served as CFO and held other senior financial positions with several well-recognized mining, exploration and securities companies. In addition to the appointment of Lotz, Loop noted that former Abbey Abdiye had resigned to pursue other opportunities.
