Vwap is an indicator and stands for volume weighted average price ... Traders use it gauge price action.... Are you speaking of that drop ? ... I didnt see it when it happened but I assume it happened quickly .... My thoughts were market makers dropped the price real quick triggering some stops or catching some buy orders sitting on vwap ... Which is common for traders to buy off of
I've read they will do this and pick up some cheap shares catching the bounce back up .... I've definitely seen it on other stocks ... But who knows... Market makers are the only ones able to execute like that as they can execute very quickly. So ya ... Imbalance or playing games idk
